Click here to register for an application for a retirement pension!
IMPORTANT: Please note that you have to complete separate applications for the AHV pension and the Pension Fund retirement benefit (lump sum or pension) and send these to GastroSocial.

It is advisable to plan your retirement well in advance, so that you can realise your dreams and fulfil your needs for the third phase of your life. You will receive retirement benefits from the AHV (Compensation Fund) and from your Pension Fund. Ideally, you will also receive benefits from a private insurance (3rd pillar).

In Switzerland, women retire at the end of the month in which they turn 64, and men when they turn 65. This is the so-called «ordinary retirement age»

IV pensioners

If you are fully or partially unfit for work, your IV pension automatically becomes a retirement pension when you reach the ordinary retirement age

AHV retirement pension

In order to be entitled for a retirement pension for the remainder of your life, contributions need to have been credited or added to your account for at least one year.

Advance calculation of pension

The amount of your AHV retirement pension depends on:

If you wish to receive an advance calculation of your AHV pension, please complete the «Application for pension forecast (AHV form)» and send it to:

GastroSocial Compensation Fund  |  Pensions/IV Daily Allowance Team (Renten/IV-Taggeld)

P.O. Box  |  5001 Aarau  |  E-Mail

The pension illustration tool will give you an initial indication of the amount of your AHV pension. The estimate does not serve as the basis for entitlement, however.

Note: We recommend pension forecasts only from the age of 50 years onwards. Prior to this, the calculation can be unreliable as it is made on the basis of an extrapolation (based on a hypothetical income).
